Helsinki is a global front-runner in smart urban transport mobility with the world’s first “mobility-as-a-service” platform.

Health & Life Sciences

Helsinki has an excellent environment for new product development and testing. There are 29,000 technical life-sciences professionals in Helsinki; 75% work in public research institutes, academia or healthcare. The corporate sector includes 330 companies (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology & medical R&D), 5,200 professionals, €2.1 billion revenues.
